This collection is dedicated to the fascinating nature spectacles of the Partnachklamm gorge and the appearance of accumulated pollen. To do justice to their multifaceted appearances selective materials have been chosen to reconstruct the beauty of nature. The focus is set on the choice of special yarns and their processing in manual elements like knitting, crochet, and embroidery. Elegant French lace and tulle play the feminine, romantic part of the collection and complete the positive emotions evoked by the spectacle of nature. Additively, an Italian brocade fabric traces the terraces in the watercourse on its surface, and combined with the cross-stretch satin it shines like the sunlight penetrating through the crevices.
The collection "Naturschauspiel" lives from brought observations and its reflected details of the special moments experienced during the phenomena itself, which have been incorporated into the designs. Therefore, the designs are adorned with the form of slits and cut-outs which are reflecting the rocky formations of the gorge and its crevices - both for the handwork pieces, as well as in the fabric processing. Partially sewn on iridescent Swaroskiv elements remind on the dust of flower pollen supported by the yarn selection which is supplemented with glass beads, sequins and Lurex threads for reflections to reconstruct and imitate these surfaces. The basis of the color composition is intended to be reminiscent of the tones found in nature at all times. Furthermore, the closures and hardware of this collection have been discreetly pushed into the background.
